Thurgau is closely linked to the Bonaparte family as it set up home here when Emperor Napoleon I was sent into exile.

The family’s standing in the region is evidenced not least by the fact that their own cheese has been dedicated to them. Bonaparte impresses with its harmonious, mild character. We produce it in three varieties – plain, with chilli or with green pepper.
